Why this work matters to me
My work didn’t grow from theory alone — it grew from lived experience.
Over time, I’ve navigated grief, loss, and periods of deep change. Those experiences quietly reshaped how I move through the world and what I value in support.
They shaped not just what I offer, but how I work. I learned how much difference it makes to be supported by someone who can listen, stay present, and meet you where you are — without rushing or trying to fix what needs time.
At the heart of my work is a belief that wellbeing isn’t something to strive for or perfect. It’s something that’s nurtured through presence, care, and time. That’s why my approach is gentle, trauma-aware, and led at your pace.
Whether through sound, time in nature, or reflective 1:1 support, my intention is always the same: to offer a space where you can feel listened to, supported, and not alone as you move through whatever life is asking of you.
It’s the kind of support I once needed myself — and now offer to others.

Kim, Empower Me
___
“My coaching sessions with Katy have been valuable to helping me figure out a pathway to getting me back on track after a substantial career break. After each coaching session I come away with a clear set of actions that I need complete in order to meet my goal. Before this I felt my head was completely muddled and I wasn’t sure where to begin. I find that small frequent ‘wins’ help to keep me on focused."
A little more about me

I’m a qualified life coach and wellbeing practitioner, offering 1:1 support alongside sound and nature-based practices.
I’m trained as a Forest Therapy Practitioner and Gong Practitioner, and my work is shaped by lived experience, ongoing learning, and time spent alongside people navigating change.
I’m a Yorkshire lass, though I’ve lived in Wiltshire longer than I ever lived in Yorkshire — both places feel like home in different ways.
I’ve always been drawn to history and heritage. I spent over 25 years in heritage environments, and I find these spaces carry a natural sense of calm and grounding — which is why I love holding gong experiences in old, characterful settings.
I love being outdoors, spending time with family and friends, and following what I’m drawn to — always curious, always learning.
