"We all want quiet, we all want beauty, we all need space. Unless we have it, we cannot reach that sense of quiet in which whispers of better things come to us gently."

Forest Therapy

In a world that moves fast, forest therapy invites you

to slow down. To breathe. To listen. To reconnect with yourself through the gentle, healing presence of nature.

As a qualified Forest Therapy Practitioner I guide

individuals and small groups through peaceful, sensory-rich invitations to deepen your connection with the natural world—and yourself.

What is Forest Therapy?

Forest therapy (also known as Shinrin-yoku or “forest bathing”) is a gentle, guided experience in nature. It’s not a hike or a nature talk — it’s an invitation to slow down. To tune into your senses, breathe deeply, and find stillness in nature. A quiet returning to ourselves — for after all, we are nature.

You don’t need to be fit or outdoorsy. You don’t need to talk (unless you want to). You simply need to show up with curiosity and an open heart.

Why try Forest Therapy?

People often come to forest therapy when life feels full, fast, or demanding;

It can support:

• Stress and overwhelm
• Emotional healing or times of transition
• A desire to slow down
• Connection — to yourself, to nature, and to others

The benefits of forest therapy can include:

• Reduced anxiety and stress
• Improved mood and mental clarity
• Better sleep and emotional resilience
• A stronger sense of connection and inner calm
• Lowered blood pressure

How It Works

I offer gentle forest therapy sessions in Wiltshire and surrounding areas. Sessions usually last 1.5–2 hours and include:

• A warm welcome and grounding practice
• Simple, sensory-based invitations to help you connect with nature
• Optional moments of reflection or sharing
• A cuppa and gentle closing before heading home

Private 1:1 and small group sessions are available. I can plan sessions close to you by carefully researching suitable local woodland. Please get in touch to explore what might work best for you.
